In the Canton of Zug, recent years have brought a large number of child care possibilities to supplement the family. Many communities support that provision of care services. Block times have been introduced in accordance with the education law, but they are applied in varying ways. The coordination of the various services offered still need to be improved. The "Frauenzentrale" (Women's Advise Center) has published a comprehensive study of "Child care in the Canton of Zug as a supplement to families and schools" which can be downloaded free of charge from its homepage.
